Rigging some dots
One of my favourite parts of the project was the creation of a rig to control a grid of dots.
Coming up with a rigging system from scratch tends to be a tricky and time-consuming task, but I had a hunch it would be particularly handy in order to tackle some important scenes with a flexible and playful approach. It allowed me to try out different movements reasonably quickly, keeping the animation process smooth and enjoyable.
